As a part of the international residency programme Ulysses' Shelter 3, the Slovene Writers' Association hosted poet Lara Mitraković and writer Sven Popović. They participated in a literary event during this year's Slovene Book Days, where they talked with the writer Tomo Podstenšek about their writing, their experiences at the residency in Slovenia, contemporary literature, and the barriers and incentives for young literary artists in Croatia.

Sven Popović writes short stories that were published in an anthology of young Croatian writers (Bez vrata, bez kucanja, 2012), in the short story collection Record Stories (2011), as well as in various magazines and online newspapers such as Quorum, Zarez, and Arteist.

Lara Mitraković is a member of the literary group 90+. Her poetry has been published in numerous journals (Tema, Poezija, Artikulacije...), and anthologies (Hrvatska mlada lirika 2, Rukopisi 41, Ekofeminizam,  Izmađu zelenih i ženskih studija...).
